Il lavoro di Maria Rita De Giorgio si sviluppa in una visione poetica che ricostruisce un mondo diverso dal reale, ma ad esso contiguo, sospeso nel tempo e nello spazio. Sebbene le sue installazioni si presentino concrete e fatte di materiali primari, noti ed anche semplici, si instaura un’atmosfera un pò misteriosa e densa della sacralità del rito, ma che porta con sé un sentimento pervaso di pace e serenità proprio all’attività dello spirito. Il lavoro di Maria Rita De Giorgio si articola e si svolge in bilico tra spirito e materia per mettere in movimento pensieri e risvegliare sentimenti.

Maria Rita De Giorgio’s work grows in a poetical vision that rebuild a world different from the reality, but contiguousnto it, hanging in the time and in the space.
Although her installations remain concrete and made with primary materials,well known and simple, an atmosphere is setted,rather mysterious and full of the sacrality of the rite, that brings with it a sense of peace and serenity, peculiar of the spirit’s activity.
